Location suggestions

I've had a few ideas for new locations after you go to Japan. I know Gail is working on China currently, and I'm not sure what she has in mind, but I thought making a post like this would be helpful.

For my location idea, I think Australia and Germany would be some interesting places to start new missions.

Well, when I think of locations of course the "classics" would be cool, meaning Eastern Europe and Transylvania =D But also Africa and the Caribbean might be interesting, some old myths there as well ... Or the South American Jungle ....

Specifically in the Caribbean, Haiti would be cool...Because the origin of the Zombie and Voodoo in that area.

maybe so. first off austria and australia have 2 entirely different pronunciations in german and secondly i know a girl who's german who speaks very good english, even though it's not her first language and she knows the difference between the two countries we are discussing.

oh and uh.. zomb, check out my player suggestion by searching the tag "lycans in bloodlines". you should find it quite interesting.:D

You should make your own game! But I think the idea you proposed here is interesting, althought I'm not sure how it would be incorperated because right now we're at the point in Japan where you're about to go to Hong Kong to start your search for the sold artifacts in the tomb...I don't think they would end up on Easter Island or in a remote location in the Amazon.

I'm not familiar with Thailand's lore. Do they have vampire, zombie, or werewolf legends associated with and old religion or native people?

I think for those locations, you would have to put them in the middle of the game, and that might mess people up if they are traveling and something in the middle of the game is being updated.

Why would Ireland, Norway, or Sweden be in the middle? I mean, we got from Dubai to Tokyo with no connection other than a business card dropped by tomb raiders. Maybe some elite Scandinavian vampire hunter has already taken critical information or another artifact from the Hong Kong Zombies.

As for locations, Russia would be interesting, especially if tied in with Rasputin. Romania would have to be done very, very well to not feel hackneyed, though the rest of Eastern Europe is fair game. In the U.S., I see San Fran or Boston being good venues (San Fran for the counterculture scene, Boston for the history). I also agree, Haiti/Caribbean Islands could be a good logical progression, especially after Hong Kong, given the zombie influence. The Aztecs, Mayans, Olmec, etc. all had blood rituals. Anyplace desolate or extremely out of the way works, too... Southwestern U.S., the steppes of Mongolia, anyplace that is in a polar region, where there are months of pure darkness.

Yes, Amsterdam works much in the same way that SanFran would. Counterculture, night life, etc. That and it has foreign flare, at least for the majority of players, I suppose.
