Mission not awarding what it says it does! Why?

:mad:at the Valley of The Kings, the mission I am talking about is:

Hunt for Sekhmet's Tomb
It must lie somewhere among the many lesser mastabas...
Requires... YOU REWARD:
Energy: 40 EXPERIENCE +400
Clan Size: 1
Health: 5 - 10
1 x Sense Vampire

I do the mission, I only get 40 Experience....what gives???

Here's what happens:
Hmm...
As you prowl, you are set upon by more vampire hunters, whom you fight off. But you are sure that the mastaba you seek is out there, and perhaps your next foray will be more successful.

You used 40 energy to complete the mission.
You lost 8 health.
You gained 1,547 Blood and 40 experience points.

I suppose it's a typo. We all only got 40 exp from this mission, at least people I know.

yeah that was a bit annoying.. i just came here to post the same thing as well.. really sucks :[ then there are also missions that just say the reward is blood and exp.. and then it'll increase or decrease the darkness as well .. :shrug:

It is possible to fail at certain missions in the game. This is based on chance. Sometimes you will win right away, other times it could take several attempts.

The fact that you were "set upon by more vampire hunters" is a clue toward the reasoning. I'm pretty sure that when you have success and actually find the mastaba, you will received that 400 xp.

Is anyone else not getting reward and points promised here?

3000-8000 blood
325 experience points?

I never have gotten any blood and always 125 exp

I am having the same problem. It says 400 XP but only gives 40. They should really fix it, it is misleading. I did the mission several times before realizing that it wasn't giving 400. I would have chosen another mission if I'd known, lol.
