What would *really* be cool is if you could sell off those lower-value companions and use the clan that had previously been occupied babysitting them (I still fail to see how it takes THREE vampires to watch over ONE human) to babysit newer, more valuable companions.

I mean REALLY, why would they NOT go work for you again if you say, drained their ward?

I accidentally sold my Hot Pretzel vendor when I thought I was buying another one. DUH...gotta pay attention. At least it was "just" a Pretzel vendor. LOL
