Is There a Way?

I took a couple day break on here to build some money and such, and when i got on again, i noticed i was attacked multiple times and lost a big chunk of the money that accrued over the past few days.

Why is this so? Does this mean we can get attacked even when we are not logged in? Thats bull. I thought that the list of people you see under the fight screen meant that those were the people online.

If this is true and we can be attacked even when we are logged off, is there anyway we can guard ourselves or be safe from losing money or being attacked when we are not logged in?

that's the one thing I don't like about the GAME... with racing season coming up, I may only be able to open the app once a week or so... but I guess it's a trade off... either no income generated unless you are logged in and actively playing, or all income goes into bloodbank... and can only be accested after you've done a round of missions, not fights, not hits...

same thing, how can someone fight you if you are not even logged on, and why the heck can a person have more than one character in the game...

how can you make money if you arent logged in? the question goes both ways. If you want to continue to generate income then you get to continue to be a target. if you want to NOT lose money when you aren't logged in I suggest you beef up your character so you don't lose fights. Another option would be to get imacros and program yourself a banking bot that banks your cash once an hour and set it to run when you are not home or sleeping. Either way be happy you make any money at all when you are not at the computer instead of moaning over the money you lost.

I'd be perfectly happy for my character to not do anything if I'm not playing... no xp, no money, nada... kinda like going to ground in the classic vampire lit...

he is right though, but you guys know you can always "bank your blood". that is the only reason you can bank you blood in this game, is to protect your money. I personally never do it, because of the tax cut, but still, you have the option to protect your money, why not do it?

being on or not doesnt really matter as long as you show up in peoples newsfeeds from attacking them, they will always have a way to get to you

correct me if I'm wrong but if you switch characters the character you want to protect cant be touched untill you log that one back in, yes you wont be making any money but you will be safe from hits and attacks.
is this correct?

Yeah, that's right Jill. So if you don't want anyone to be able to attack your character while you're not online you may consider creating a lower level character under the same account, and switching to that while you're offline.
