The Black Flag II (OCC)

This was the first role play I started. It went quite well then just sort of faded away. anyway to cut a long story short i have decided to revive it. Since many of the original characters (Grim, Goddess, Snitcakes etc) aren't on anymore I thought it would be best to start from scratch. Old characters are welcome back, new characters are even more welcome. You can be staff or customers.

The Black Flag
In a dark alleyway in London there sits an old tavern, pub, inn, whatever you like to call it. Not many people notice it is there, the front is unimpressive, all peeling paint and woodworm with a plain black painted sign on which the words Th- B-ack Fl-- can only just be made out.
Inside it is dark, with mismatched furniture and a low ceiling. There is a sign pinned up on the wall beside the bar:

The rules:
Failure to obey the following rules may warrant an eviction from the premises of swift decapitation. Please read carefully.

1. No killing on the premises
2. No turning into anything, wolf bat or otherwise
3. No climbing on the furniture, walls or ceiling.
4. No human blood to be served on the premises
5. No faeries under any circumstances
6. Do not molest, bewitch or intimidate the staff
7. Have fun

Clothing: Just about anything, but among her favorites for the average night are floral dresses, gypsy skirts, beads and bangles. She nearly always has bare feet. However she has also been seen to dress more seriously. When out she wears either a green velvet cape or a black jacket, depending on business.
Personality:
Friendly and chatty, Annie has a habit of finding out all there is to know about people without revealing much more than her name. She is honest and helpful to those in need, tough under pressure and confident with most circumstances. She also ha a taste for adventure and getting involved in other peoples problems.
Bio:
Where Annie came from is rather a mystery and she dodges all questions as to who she is. She turned up around 20 years ago with a pocket full of cash and bought the old pub renamed it and opened up the only bar in London where you can buy a rabbit blood and vodka cocktail.
She serves on the bar, acts as bouncer and keeps the accounts. The only place that she won't go is the kitchen... she claims not to be able to cook at all.
Special Powers/Abilities:
Annie moves fast, has sharp eyes and hearing and is very good at guessing what people are and what they want to drink. She is also surprisingly handy with a chair or any other improvised weapon. She can drink most people under the table as well.
Favorite drinks: Moscow Mule Cocktail and Sweet Martini

Cheerful and always optimistic. Taz is outgoing and very noisy. However she can be too trusting and is very bad at keeping secrets, she loves to gossip. Also rather clumsy. She is rather in awe of Annie.
Bio:
Taz grew up in the country, learning witch craft from her aunt. When her aunt died she moved down to London and met up with a group of young magic uses. They introduced her to The Black Flag and she has been going there regularly for the last year or so. She sometimes helps out on busy nights if Annie is short of staff.
Special Powers/Abilities: Contacting the dead, reading the future in cards, control of fire and air.
Favorite Drinks: Viva Maria, Pineapple fizz and Blue lagoon

Personality: Bi-polar/ usually fakes emotions

Biography: Born a heartless of unknown origin. is the only heartless that can eat hearts an steal souls. Loves chaos an causing people misery is a scholar despite how twisted her mind is. Has a daughter that she must care for. Loves to cook so this really helps with that has been aroudn for many years most of the time does what she wants. Domi ha s worked at the Black Flag for about or slightly over 10yrs.

Powers/Special Abilitles: Demi is able to go through peoples shadows as will, manipulate them [umbrakenesis], mess with peoples hears and souls,and summon little crewatures of the darkness.
Favorite Drinks: Virgins Berry[Just a blood drink],Soda, Tainted blood, Twister Twix Mix. [heartmis with a black soul](ahh~ so sweet an dark XD)

Bio: Born to a bar owning family in Ireland, Angelus grew to love bars and drinking. Only a few people know the real details of his changes, such as Anne. He came to the Black Flag 11 years ago and got a job as a barman. He also developed a sort of crush, on a regular named Tamsin.
Special Powers/Abilities: He is fast and strong, and can handle himself in a fight. He is also one of the few people who can stand up to Anne in a drinking contest although he like most usually loses.
Favorite drink: beer, whiskey, brandy

Feeling depressed she walked the streets until she came across The Black Flag and noticed the sign on the door. She went on in and noticed the cliental it was easy to find the landlady to ask for a job and she’s been working there ever since.

Special Powers/Abilities: Telepathy, mind reading, and mental shield (Blocks the mind reading and telepathy of others as she chooses)

Favorite drink: She likes the more tropical drinks

Personality:appears to be a laid-back and irreverent individual at first glance, but this scruffy exterior hides a brutal, impulsive, excessively-violent personality and a lethally-short temper. Jason is blunt, sarcastic, and quite sadistic, although he posseses a certain code of honour and is known to symphatise.

Bio:He was once a slave to an equally sadistic master who blinded him on purpose to easily conduct experiments on him, he is also fully pale as a result of these experiments.After gaining more power after an infinte number of experiments he killed his master by slowly cutting off every part of his body.Now he wanders the lands and seeks some meaning in his existence.

Specialpowers/abilities:Energy manipulation.Due to this ability he is able to 'see' although being physically blind.Great sensory skills due to being blind his whole life

Personality: Sees humans as toys, though she can't play with them at work, rather dark, and has a twisted sense of humor. She also has a relatively bad temper.
Bio: Azrael doesn't really care for losing her family, aside from her father. Well, she [I]cared about him, before he died. Her father is the only one who wanted her to be born, but with the times, her mother had no choice. Though her mother got her revenge by naming her Azrael, the angel of death. She was 24 and on the night of her engagement, she was turned, she was only engaged to please her father, but that was all she cared about, she was his little angel. Her mother attempted to kill her father a year later, and her as well, but they hadn't noticed she didn't age, she was at that point where you weren't expected to change as much so quickly, so she simply killed her mother in a swift movement, defending her father. The people of the town assumed her father did it though, and while she was at her home with her husband, her dad was killed. She left then, having no reason to stay, wandering, and coming into the modern world enjoying how oblivious people were to danger and how easy they were to manipulate. She lives up to her name, sometimes, in theatrical ways, especially when someone knows her actual last name.
Special Powers/Abilities: Manipulate water and also plants , slight premonitions, super speed, and though not really qualifying for super strong, still quite strong.

Is very protective of her little sister. shes best friends with hiro both work in a organization unknown to others around them. works undercover in human realm fighting demons/spirits capturing souls. even though she is half vampire refuses to take blood but has to anyway only when nessasary. Has own motor cycle. The 1 human she trusted most betrayed her an told others about her secret of being a vampiric, were-demon she had to erase the ppls memories an everything was normal again. Works as a professor as the same college she graduated from teaches science. only a few ppl know her real name.

Jason's sensory skills are so advanced that he can hear nearly everything,the sound of an ordinary pocket watch and the sound of the words as he's writting.Well I guess it's time for me to explain his powers.Every single thing alive and not has a certain ammount of energy, he can see that energy clearly which means that he can see everything but only the oject's frame.For example ha cannot see how the people look like.He is able to siphon as much energy as he wants which is kind of godlike but the more energy he absorbs the more pain he feels when that energy runs out and his body starts decaying for a certain ammount of time, the absorbed energy cannot stay in his body but actually leaks as it would be too much for such a frame to hold it, although his energy is pretty high because he trained his body to the maximum.Which means that he can for an example increase the strength in his muscles ten times,speed etc. but at the cost of all the other parts and abilities of his body.As long as he's using the energy which was originally in his body there's no pain.

Bio: Born in Manchester his mother was a librarian and his stepfather an doctor. Darien never knew his actually father... it fact his mother didn't know him long either, approximately two hours. Darien was bullied at school until he learnt the ability to blend into the background. He learnt a little magic from an old woman who often visited the library.
Shortly after his 19th birthday... while he was still living at home and working in a bookshop, Darien fell out with his step father and moved away to stay with his cousin Melly in london. At a party he met a charming and pretty girl who turned out to be a witch. She gave him her number and invited him out to her favorite haunt... The Black Flag.

Personality: Kind of shy and flirty, mostly keeps to herself unless someone else talks to her first. She is usually calm and laid back.

Bio: Grace was born to a very high class family and always loved the old clothing that came with the time she was born in. Her family was very active in their community, keeping their true forms a secret. After living with her parents for about 200 years she decided she wanted to get away from Germany for some time and travel around, her travels have finally taken her to the Black Flag.

Special Powers/Abilities: Grace is very fast and strong, her mixed breed making her senses even more heightened than what is normal. Grace can control elements but has more control over fire and spirit, the ability to control elements has been passed down in her family for thousands of years.

Favorite drink: Tequila sunrise or straight vodka
